Service Description

This is our youngest, entry level workshop designed for both boys and girls aged 4 and over. The workshop is designed to give kids this age a taste of woodworking, while maintaining a high level of safety. This session starts with a small safety module, followed by a hands-on practical learning experience where the kids actively participate in building a timber Birdhouse. The workshop covers three learning methodologies including instructions, pictures and demonstrations. Parents are required to stay for the duration of the workshop and we highly recommended one child per parent, if possible. You never know, you may even learn a few skills yourself! Enclosed shoes is a must. This workshop will run for approximately 1.5 hours. The workshop duration varies slightly, due to age and experience of the participants as well as the child to parent ratio. Woodworking is an excellent way to increase your child's co-ordination, enhance problem solving skills, spatial awareness and unleash their creative ability.
