The NAB Free Community Disaster Preparedness Workshops aims to minimise community dependence on government assistance while progressing self-efficacy and community connectedness. - Learn how to sandbag your home - Water ingress prevention training - Basic home maintenance tips - Storm water diversion techniques - Basic knot tying & using ratchet straps - How to build your own cyclone kit - Build a take-home woodwork project - PCEP & Get Ready guides - Free BBQ & giveaways BOOKINGS ESSENTIAL Limited spots in each workshop Saturday 17th June 2023 9:00am to 11:30am or Monday 19th June 2023 9:00am to 11:30am These workshops are jointly funded by NAB, Life Skills Queensland Pty Ltd & in-kind support from a number of local community organisations.

FOR WEEKEND & SCHOOL HOLIDAY WORKSHOPS Please contact us 48 hours in advance to reschedule a booked workshop free of charge. Rescheduling of workshops within 48 hours of a workshop scheduled start time may incur a fee. Unfortunately we do not offer refunds. FOR EMPOWER PROGRAMS Please contact us 7 days in advance of the first workshop to reschedule a booked program free of charge. Rescheduling of a program within 7 days of a program scheduled start time may incur a fee. Unfortunately we do not offer refunds or rescheduled workshops for missed workshops once the program commences.
