Service Description
Lady Trade Night is a fun, relaxed, hands-on workshop designed for women of all ages and experience levels. Whether you're completely new to DIY or looking to build on existing skills, this workshop provides a supportive environment to learn practical techniques, gain confidence with tools, and connect with other women. Girls aged 12 years and above are also welcome to attend when accompanied by a participating adult, making it a great opportunity to learn practical skills together. Led by our experienced female carpenter, Katrina, you'll have the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and gain real-world skills that can save you time, money, and frustration at home. Topics covered include: 🔨 Understanding and safely using common power tools, including drills, impact drivers, sanders, jigsaws, drop saws, and table planers 🔨 Drilling and fixing into a variety of materials, including timber, steel, and concrete 🔨 Hanging pictures, shelves, and fixtures on plasterboard walls 🔨 Basic home maintenance skills, including isolating a water meter and changing tap washers 🔨 Understanding the purpose and use of common hand tools 🔨 Essential workshop and tool safety practices While the workshop follows a structured format, participants are encouraged to bring along their own DIY questions and projects for discussion. Join us for an evening of learning, laughter, and practical skill-building in our fully equipped, air-conditioned workshop. No experience necessary. All tools and equipment supplied.

CANCELLATIONS, CREDITS & RESCHEDULING PAID WORKSHOPS Due to limited class sizes and preparation of materials, the following terms apply: More than 7 days before the workshop Full refund (less any booking or processing fees) OR credit to be used toward a future class OR free reschedule to another available class Between 2–7 days before the worskhop Credit OR free reschedule to another available class No cash refunds during this period Less than 2 days before the class or no-show No refund No credit No reschedule Credit & Rescheduling Conditions Credits and reschedules are subject to availability. Credits must be used within 12 months of the original class date. Each booking may be rescheduled once only. Credits are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable. Cancellations by Us If we need to cancel a class due to illness, low enrolment, safety concerns or unforeseen circumstances, families will be offered: A full refund or A transfer to another available class Thank you for your understanding.
