Service Description
In this hands-on workshop, kids will build their very own wooden lap table from start to finish. This engaging project introduces a variety of tools, techniques, and woodworking skills in a fun and supportive environment. Designed as an intermediate-level project, it offers the perfect balance of challenge and guidance, no prior experience is required. Parent/Guardian Participation To enhance family bonding and build capacity, a parent or guardian is required to accompany and work alongside each child at no additional cost. Each participating child must be registered in a booked position. Workshop Safety Requirements -Closed-in shoes are required for all participants. -A water bottle is recommended. -Eye and hearing protection will be provided. -Avoid loose clothing or jewellery. -Long hair must be securely tied back. Recommended Age This workshop is recommended for ages 8 and above, as it involves the use of simple woodworking tools and laser etching machine. Participants under 18 must have a parent, carer, or support worker present. Workshop Duration The workshop runs for approximately 2 hours. Duration may vary based on the age, experience level, and child-to-parent ratio of participants. Why Woodworking? Woodworking is an excellent way to build your child’s coordination, problem-solving skills, spatial awareness, and creative confidence - while also strengthening the parent-child relationship through shared hands-on activities.
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATIONS, CREDITS & RESCHEDULING PAID WORKSHOPS Due to limited class sizes and preparation of materials, the following terms apply: More than 7 days before the workshop Full refund (less any booking or processing fees) OR credit to be used toward a future class OR free reschedule to another available class Between 2–7 days before the worskhop Credit OR free reschedule to another available class No cash refunds during this period Less than 2 days before the class or no-show No refund No credit No reschedule Credit & Rescheduling Conditions Credits and reschedules are subject to availability. Credits must be used within 12 months of the original class date. Each booking may be rescheduled once only. Credits are not redeemable for cash and are non-transferable. Cancellations by Us If we need to cancel a class due to illness, low enrolment, safety concerns or unforeseen circumstances, families will be offered: A full refund or A transfer to another available class Thank you for your understanding.
