Service Description

Our Fishing Rod Holder Woodwork Service guides participants through building a sturdy, free-standing wooden holder that can hold up to four fishing rods. Everyone completes the same project, following step-by-step instructions with support from an experienced mentor. Participants will learn core woodworking skills such as measuring, cutting, sanding, drilling, assembly, and finishing. The finished holder is practical, durable, and perfect for organising or displaying fishing rods at home or in a workshop. This hands-on activity is engaging and helps develop fine-motor skills, confidence, and basic tool use. It is suitable for beginners and can be adapted to individual abilities. Parent/Guardian Participation Parents or guardians are recommended to accompany and work alongside a child free of charge. Each child attending will need to be registered in a paid position. Workshop Safety Requirements -Closed-in shoes are required for all participants. -A water bottle is recommended. -Eye and hearing protection will be provided. -Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. -Long hair must be securely tied back. Payment & Booking Payment is required in full prior to the workshop. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended. Please refer to the cancellation policy for cancellations or missed sessions. Recommended Age: This service is recommended for ages 8 and above, as it involves the use of woodworking tools and equipment. Participants under 18 require a parent, carer, or support worker present.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy – School Holiday & Group Workshops Payment and Booking -Full payment is required prior to attendance to secure your booking. Spaces are limited. Cancellation by Participant -We do not provide cash refunds for cancellations. -Participants may request a credit towards another workshop or service if cancellation is made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled workshop. -Credits must be used within 12 months of the original booking date. Late Cancellations and No-Shows -Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the workshop, or failure to attend, will forfeit the payment. Cancellation by the Workshop Provider -In the unlikely event the workshop is cancelled by us, participants will be offered the choice of rescheduling to another workshop date or receiving a full credit toward another service.
